What ages do you teach?
Our programs range from toddler movement through school-age dance, with a different class for each age group. See Enrichment Programs for the age ranges and tell us about your group so we can suggest a fit.
What does a class look like?
Classes are tailored to the age and group and may include a warm-up, dance skills and technique, choreography, creative movement and age-appropriate activities. Groups can build toward a routine to share with families.
How long is a class or session?
We plan class length and the number of visits around your group and schedule.
How many kids can join a class?
Tell us your group size so we can suggest a format that fits.
What do you need from us?
An open space where kids can move freely. We bring the music, props and lesson plan.
Is Dance Jam insured?
Yes. Dance Jam carries liability insurance and can provide a certificate of insurance when required.
What kind of music do you use?
We use age-appropriate music and clean edits selected to fit the style and age group, including hip hop and jazz.
How does pricing work?
It depends on the format, the ages, the number of kids and the number of visits. Tell us about your group and we’ll send a simple plan with pricing.
Can we book a library or community visit?
Ask us about a dance and movement visit for your library or community program. We’ll talk through your group, space and schedule.

We’re based in Evanston and serve the North Shore, Chicago, and surrounding communities. Get in touch to ask about your location.

What is Parents’ Night Out?
A night of dancing, games and creative fun for kids while grown-ups enjoy a night off. Ages, dates and locations vary by program, so join the family list to hear about upcoming nights.
How do I register for an event?
Registration depends on the event and location. Join the Dance Jam family list and we’ll share dates and registration details as family events, camps and Parents’ Night Out programs are scheduled.
